Design + Implementation Group partnered with New Jersey–based assisted living operator Mira Vie at Forsegate Monroe to develop a comprehensive design-standard rollout across its portfolio of historic properties. The initiative was created to honor the architectural character of each location while elevating the resident and visitor experience through thoughtful, modern interior design.
The design approach balances consistency with individuality, incorporating locally sourced artwork that reflects the unique culture, history, and community of each property and the populations they serve. This allows every location to feel familiar yet distinct, creating a strong sense of place while maintaining a cohesive brand identity across the portfolio.
Public spaces were reimagined to feel more welcoming, intuitive, and secure for residents and visiting families. Interior upgrades included improved lighting, updated furnishings, durable and senior-friendly materials, and cohesive color palettes that support both comfort and longevity.
Wayfinding elements were strategically integrated throughout each property to enhance accessibility and ease of navigation, reinforcing independence and confidence for residents. The result is an elevated, functional environment that respects each building’s historic roots while supporting modern assisted living needs.
