Design + Implementation Group (DIG) designed this Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Yorktown Heights, NY, drawing from the client’s branding and the refined character of Westchester County. The result is a bold yet welcoming environment that supports healing, recovery, and comfort.
Hospitality-inspired reception and waiting areas create a bright, reassuring arrival for patients and families. Warm wood textures layered with teal, blue, green, and chartreuse accents establish a vibrant, optimistic palette, complemented by clean ceilings, modern lighting, and curated artwork.
Dining and activity spaces feature large windows that bring in natural light, while upper-level lounges with fireplaces encourage social interaction and relaxation. Resident and patient rooms incorporate wood paneling and textured blue wallcoverings to create calm, restorative spaces. A state-of-the-art therapy gym provides a dedicated environment for rehabilitation. The success of the design led to its implementation at two additional locations across New York State.
